Commerciant's exciting new wireless, handheld payment-processing solutions to feature Wavecom modules

HOUSTON, Texas and Issy-les-Moulineaux, France- September 29, 2005 -Commerciant, payment systems specialists, and Wavecom (Nasdaq: WVCM), a leader in pre-packaged wireless communications solutions, today announced that Commerciant's newest line of innovative wireless payment terminals will feature state-of-the-art modules supplied by Wavecom. Ideal for a variety of vertical markets such as restaurants, airlines and mobile workers, Mobilescape is lightweight, rugged and exceptionally easy to use for the instantaneous processing of electronic payments such as credit and debit cards from almost anywhere in the United States. While the units can be customized to run a broad range of applications, they can also be instantly deployed right out of the box.
