 The Billion Dollar Wireless Market

The adoption of wireless technology at the point of sale is a segment that could be worth $1 billion annually, according to a Mercator Advisory Group report.  Melanie Broad, the report's contributing analyst, tells CardLine that merchants in the U.S. will eventually adopt the technology because "it can bring debit or credit payments to merchants...like the pizza delivery man or artists selling crafts at a country fair."

  • Increase Your Revenue Quicker with Multiple Unit Sales

    Since the launch of the Mobilescape 5000 over the summer, we have seen a recurring sales trend occur when it comes to selling wireless.  The ability to process both checks and credit cards with the Mobilescape 5000 is proving a very popular solution for companies in the residential services business.
     
    Wireless sales frequently require a little more work up front, but can often result in 3-10 units per sale!
     
    A heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) company with a small fleet of trucks is a perfect example of the multi-unit trend.  Many HVAC companies deal with the hassle of taking paper checks from the customer and lose hundreds or even thousands of dollars in downgrade surcharges when they call in credit card transactions to their home office.
