Timothy D. Davis
Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer

Davis joined Commerciant in 2004, bringing more than 30 years of executive leadership experience driving high-growth companies. Davis founded a third-party claims administration firm, serving as its president for five years, until it was acquired by Hospital Corporation of America (NYSE: HCA). He later formed a group to purchase a dental HMO operating throughout Texas that was expanded and sold to Protective Life Insurance, a subsidiary of Protective Life Corporation (NYSE: PL). An employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm that Davis founded and built was acquired by USI Insurance Services, Inc., a subsidiary of USI Holdings Corporation (NasdaqNM: USIH) in 1997 after 10 years of operation. Davis also has made private equity investments in several industries during the past 10 years. He received his B.B.A. in finance from The University of Texas at Austin.

Robert D. Planck, Director
Planck is president of the Independent Marketing Alliance (IMA), a procurement and marketing company serving affiliated market-leading, independent foodservice distributors across the United States. Planck has held executive-level management roles for over 20 years, and he has led the marketing efforts and served in executive management for both domestic and foreign companies. He was the founder of Food Service Associates Pty Ltd, an Australian foodservice company. Planck spent 18 years with the world's largest food service distributor, Sysco Corporation; his last eight years were as vice president of marketing. He was a founding director of John Lewis Food Service in Australia and was senior vice president of merchandising and marketing for the distributor AmeriServe Food Management Services. Planck is a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College, where he has also been a visiting professor, and holds several professional certifications. Planck is a past international president of the Society for the Advancement of Foodservice Research and Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, the world’s largest college fraternal society. He currently serves as a board member of three recognized educational foundations.

Kevin Dragan
Dragan is a partner and chief financial officer at Aegis Texas Venture Fund, a Houston-based venture capital firm focused on investing in early-stage companies located in Texas. Dragan is also a partner with Aegis Capital Group, a venture capital firm with operations in New York and Texas. Prior to his work with Aegis, Dragan was a director of mergers and acquisitions for the Financial Institutions Group at Citigroup Global Markets. There he had 13 years’ experience advising clients in mergers and acquisitions and raising capital at a top global investment bank. This experience included leading M&A for the #1 Wall Street coverage group focused on financial institutions technology and e-commerce ventures. From 1998 to 2003, Dragan was an advisor on seven of the 10 largest and most significant sale or acquisition transactions in the payment-processing industry. Dragan graduated with honors from The University of British Columbia and holds a bachelor of commerce degree specializing in finance.

Mansoor Ghori
Ghori is currently managing director and chief investment officer of Accent Capital LLC, where he is responsible for all investment activities for the firm on a national basis. Prior to Accent, he was a managing director at Transamerica Technology Finance Corporation (acquired by GE Capital). In this role, he managed all origination of investments in information technology, life science, and telecommunications companies in the south central and southeast regions of the United States. Ghori was also a principal and manager of the Austin office of Sternhill Partners, a $100-million venture capital firm based in Houston, Texas. Prior to joining Sternhill Partners, Ghori was the founder and senior vice president/regional manager for Imperial Bank (acquired by Comerica Bank), where he managed the Southwest Regional Office of the Emerging Growth Industries Group. Before joining Imperial, Ghori worked as a vice president in the National Accounts Division of Silicon Valley Bank. Ghori currently sits on the board of directors of Ashley Laurent, Inc., an Austin-based software company. He holds a BS in finance from Santa Clara University and an MBA from Northeastern University.
